At St Michael and All Angels we are using the Whole Class Reading approach to encourage all children to enjoy books and reading.
LONG TERM PLAN - WHOLE CLASS READERS

Year 2
Year 2 read ‘The Adventures of the Wishing Chair’ by Enid Blyton. They learn lots of new vocabulary and find out about the different lands and places Mollie and Peter visited.
Year 5
Year 5 read ‘How to Train your Parents’ by Pete Johnson.
Year 3
Year 3 read ‘The Butterfly Lion’ by Michael Morpurgo over the Summer Term.
YEAR 2
Year 2 read Fantastic Mr Fox. They learn lots of new words and find out about those 3 nasty farmers.
Year 6
Year 6 enjoy the book ‘Kaspar Prince of Cats’ by Michael Morpurgo
Year 4
Year 4 read a range of poetry.
YEAR 3
Year 3 read Leon and the place between. The children always wonder what this place between might look like!
